To find the solution, you must first discover the problem. When you first started, you felt all the motivation you need to lose weight.

As time passed and the demands of everyday life took over, you couldn’t stand the pressure, and ended up losing motivation along the way. 

So why can’t you get motivated to lose weight? 

Let’s look at what has changed. What do you think this is how you feel before you say BS to this statement, let’s see if it turns out to be true. 

Now let’s find the problem that kills motivation. When you started out, your mind had a clear picture of what you didn’t want.

Your thoughts were about all the negative effects it had on you. You were telling yourself that you were going to lose weight [thinking] and you felt [feeling] empowered to do so. 

So what has changed from lose weight? 

Your thinking. Thoughts of wanting to lose weight and taking a back seat to thoughts of how to handle all events were at the forefront. 

The thought of losing weight wasn’t that strong, so the feelings of motivation followed. Go back to when you start to lose your motivation and remember what was on your mind, your thoughts and what you felt.

If you do, you will find what you were thinking when you started to lose your motivation to lose weight. 

What’s the solution? 

Now you know that your thinking is the key to staying motivated to lose weight. So what do you do to stay motivated? 

Make a written list. 

Write down all the problems your weight is causing you. Focus on that specific problem until you feel very strong. Now write down how you feel about this problem. 

Do this with every problem that being overweight is causing you. The more effort you put into it, the better the results. Now write down your goals. Every benefit will bring about weight loss. 

As described above, it makes each one as real to you as you can, so write that feeling down.

Take the lists you’ve made and put them where you can see them every day. Make a point of reading them every day so that thoughts are fresh and feelings will follow. 

I hope this has shown you why you can’t get motivated to lose weight and give you a solution as soon as you can.
